Yet another update: tried to repair permissions this time, and now the 13" monitor has gone blank! Guess the problem definitely isn't limited to the Multiple Scan 17", but is instead the dreaded 10.2.8/internal video problem. Either I go back to 10.2, or try and find some sort of cheap video card for it, methinks. -Adam
