Yes, just tossing my opinion in too. I completely agree with Chris here that HTML based mail -- especially on dialup -- is slow on account of having to load webpages. In fact, it's a royal pain in the butt with which I can't be bothered. I'll keep my POP3 emailer any day of the week. As to forums -- I belong to just one (for a non-computer related interest). While I like the *general* setup (reminiscent of old BBS's only "prettier" in terms of graphics etc), they also have this "private messaging" system which is a form of webmail. I visit and occasionally contribute to the forum threads, but I hate the PMs and have actually asked people to just email me if they want to get in touch with me. LOL Anyway, I hate webmail so much that if an ISP or email service wouldn't allow me to set up my account to pick up/send my mail through my POP3 emailer, I wouldn't consider using it for a flat nanonsecond -- even if the service was free. ~Yersinia. ________ "Capitalism is the unequal distribution of wealth.
