I had similar problems with DSL from BellSouth. Their solution was
always to blame the modem after having me jump through hoops trying
to diagnose their problem. After 3 modems, my solution was to switch
to cable. Fixed everything.
Faster and more dependable.

The modem has always been glitchy but it keeps getting worse.
Qwest is replacing it with one of the same. So now is the time to
find something more stable. Any ideas?
