I use Eudora 4.3.2 for my email and I found that it worked fine when I had
dial up. For my browser I use Netscape 7.02, I am not use how well it will
work with dial up, but it is the best I think when using OS9 with most sites.
Or you might try IE 5.12 or iCab [get the latest beta after you have paid]
