I think the USB port on the keyboard are not powered USB, so I
wouldn't put anything like a printer on there. I used to d/l epson's
drivers, but I just use whatever is included with Tiger - it works
well and it also has the scanner software for my epson all in one, so
I am not complaining.

I reset the printing settings as per instructions
and the problem persisted.
Then, in a flash of inspiration I disconnected the printer
from my Keyboard USB port and reconnected direct to the
MacMini USB port and ... hey ... printing.
More testing to do, But, I'm not a heavy user
so time will tell.
Might help someone else.
If anyone wants copy of Epsons instructions for file
let me know off list.
