ummm... if you click thru the email, and login to the bank or whatever, you are not doing anything but giving some "evildoer" all your account information. See, it's not the real bank, but a site set up to make you type in your login information.

So, it's typing that's the problem, not vulnerabilities in the platform :)

I get some phishing emails for many different banks etc, once in a while one for paypal or ebay where I really do have accounts; it's calling "fishing" for a reason; they don't necessarily know you have an account at the site they are spoofing (I think one poster felt harvested based on his paypal account info? Seems unlikely, unless you are careless with it).

For me it has slowed down a lot in the last 6 months, comcast might be filtering.
