Proof that you can't successfully proof your own typing.
I SHOULD have typed "reset-nvram" ---- Oh yeah, it has worked properly
in the past.

Can get to OF prompt using "Opt, Command,'O','F'"
Reset-nvram does NOT return OK --- I get 'unknown word'
set-defaults returns OK
reset-all restarts, as expected.
Any Ideas????
Can start and run successfully OS9.1, OS9.2.2, OSX.2.8
So what am I wanting? to get the "Chime" back. Sound seems to work.
