I'm new to this list and can't believe this is even a subject on this list, but since you're talking about it...
Chris are you a man or a woman? George and Dan, what kind of females do you want to meet? Wouldn't you prefer a *human* female? Those are called "women". A "female" could be an ant, a polar bear, a lobster, etc.. Ask a few women. Do they prefer to be called "women" or "females"? I imagine the answer is "women." "Female" as a term to refer to women is literally dehumanizing. If you want to meet women and have them like you, it's a good idea to at least recognize that they are human when you speak about them. The use of the terms "males" and "females" by police is one example of the many means by which they dehumanize people. You might want to examine your attitudes toward women while you are looking to meet one.
