Wrong! OS X's forte is handlng multiple apps running simultaneously.
That's where a dual proc shines. If you are running more than one app
at a time (and who isn't), a dually is the ticket.
Even worse if you run OS9. The apps that really take advantage of a
second CPU are Phtoshop, Final Cut Pro, etc ... that are designed
for it.

to yours , then check some comparable scores for a single

I recently upgraded to a Dual 1.3 GHz G4 (7455) and am very happy
with the results. Got a decent buy (GigaDesigns) from SmallDog.
