I suggest: 1. try turning Classic off before printing. I can print in OSX only with Classic off. 2. Try installing the Gimp drivers. 3. You might want to try Print Set Up Repair www.fixamacsoftware.com which provides several fix options including resetting Permissions (whatever that is?) After all that, I can print once in Classic and then have to restart my printer. HT Cliff >Recently I cloned the hard drive in my B & W to a larger one. Thanks for the suggestions. This is an intermittent problem. Today the printers were accessible after a restart. It as if there was a bad Ethernet cable or connection preventing the B & W from communicating with the output devices -- except I checked that by using a know good cable and when the printers are lost the Network pane sees Built-in Ethernet as active with an IP address. All devices worked perfectly until I cloned the old hard drive to a newer larger hard drive about at week ago. This something went wrong in that process. I will try Print Set Up Repair this weekend as time permits. After reading recent posts I'm a little leery going into root user as this required by this software. If Print Set Up Repair fails, I'll just do an archive and install. I've done one before on another Mac. Thanks again -- glen (digest mode) -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
