People sending me viruses (yes, that's the proper plural from what I understand) worries me a lot less than the whole Sony "rootkit on a CD"-thing. Not only did it install software on a PC that EUs weren't aware of, but it deliberately cloaked itself to make it harder to find. Worse, the security companies that people pay good money to to catch such things took a lot longer than they should have to deal with it. And Sony *might* be planning to try to do the same thing to Macs. At least, according to the below.
