Sweet piece of hardware, for all it looks like a Klingon prop from
Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I've got older mechanical versions,
they're real 'pry them from my cold, dead fingers' devices for me.

If wireless, ... do those generic USB-RFWireless stubs work on a
Mac, or do they have to be Mac-specific? How fast do the mice go
thru batteries?
Most work just fine, as far as I've seen. USB Overdrive probably runs
any not immediately recognized. The mice are pretty long lived on
batteries.
I'm not really interested in bluetooth. The bluetooth mice we have
(PC and PowerBook) are ok, but they chew thru batteries every 7 to
10 days.
I've heard that more than once.
