Anyone have any experiences to share concerning this printer?
I've=20
always wanted a color laser but they have been too expensive. I
see=20=
this one on sale for about $300 now. Plus I'm concerned about the=20
quality versus an ink jet model. TIA
For business graphics, a low end color laser ($300) will be better
than=20=
a low end inkjet ($100).
Why would you compare these? The natural practical thing is to
compare things of similar price?
For photos, a laser does not even come close=20
to a photo inkjet.
You mean that for the money, inkjets are better for quality for
photos? mmm... I have been thinking about this issue. What about for
greyscale printing (B & W photography)?
Where the Laser really shines on the low end is in the cost of=20
consumables. IIRC, inkjets tend to be in the 8=A2 per page range,
while=20=
This sounds very right.
lasers are closer to 2=A2 per page. Also, the 2600n has built in=20
ethernet, so more than one computer can print to it over the network.
For long term durability though, don't even come close to the rated=20
monthly duty cycle.
What does not come close....?
