I would disagree here. We just sold my wife's iMac G4/700 after owning
it for three years, and I will really miss it. It's been the most
reliable computer I've *ever* owned (and I have owned/own lots). And
the display is just fine IMO.

We had 768 of memory in our iMac, and it was plenty fast for most of
the things my wife did. The deal killer was when her favorite greeting
card place <http://www.jacquielawson.com>, which is heavily flashed,
started choking her computer. We got her one of the last iMac G5s.
