The only problem with Command-Tab is that minimized (docked) windows are not bought to the front. Nor are Apps with closed windows running in the background, such as mail.

You have to select these with Command-Tab then choose 'New Viewer Window' (or Shift-Command-N), or STILL maximize from the Dock.

Command-Tab simply brings back any App in the condition you left it.

Application Switcher Menu always assumes you want to open a window, or maximize Docked windows, as you choose an App.

Command-Tab needs work, especially if you might have 10-20 Apps open at once, a condition which I sometimes find my G5 in after my family have used it.
