SCSI, in
general, on OS X is s*l*o*w. Apple *really* wants you to go IDE,
firewire, and SATA.

I have noticed. I have a scsi raid array left over from my 7300 gear and I tried to use it the other day for back ups from my QS on X and though the card a 2940 U2B (I'm sure?) is 68 pin and all, it was rather slow... began to wonder whether I should boot into 9 to do it?
