I seldom see software discussion on this list.
I hope this is not OT.
I have a question re MS Word.
This should be easy for anyone familiar with it.
My friend has a Tiger powered G4 Powerbook running MS Word (latest
version or close to it)
It's the automatic numbering feature that he can't stand.
You know, you type a line, hit return and the computer inserts '1'.
Type another line, hit return and the computer inserts '2', etc.
It's driving him nuts!
He wants to turn this 'feature' OFF.
Could anyone help?
