G'day Richard

System X needs to be installed on the first (top) 7.8 Gig of your hard drive.

If you have a drive larger than that, you need to partition it.

Have you done this?

My Jaguar/G3 page might give you some help.

I know you guys are really advanced in the mysteries of Mac's.
I bought the book "The Missing Manual" by Pogue and " Mac OS Xv.10.2
Jaguar Little Black Book" by Steinberg.

The books explain all the new features but don't tell me how to open.

Perhaps there is a link for dummies like myself explaining how to do
such things.

Any help would be appreciated,
