Exclusive dealers in non-key markets ssuch as Venezuela typically get higher pricing from headquarters and in turn make a killing.

Keep in mind they are non-US laayouts, a "specialty" so they are likely to be pricier ex-factory.

Also, the locaal reseller "recoups" ssome of what they "lose" when someone buys a US model in the US and gets a Spanish-language laayout keyboard instead of buying from them aa localized unit.
