I am not sure whether I understand you properly here. Can't you
mailorder directly from Apple's web-site, thus avoiding gready local
resellers completely? If you ordered from abroad, would that incur some
heavy import tax in Venezuela?
Couldn't find the Spanish layout keyboard at Apple's US web site, but
at the Norwegian one all the national layout keyboard are listed. They
all cost the same, no matter which layout
Hello Are.
Exclusive dealers in non-key markets ssuch as Venezuela typically get
higher pricing from headquarters and in turn make a killing.
Keep in mind they are non-US laayouts, a "specialty" so they are
likely to
be pricier ex-factory.
Also, the locaal reseller "recoups" ssome of what they "lose" when
someone
buys a US model in the US and gets a Spanish-language laayout keyboard
instead of buying from them aa localized unit.
Regards.
