I am trying to help my sister-in-law with her monitor settings on a B&W running 10.3.9 and running into a small snag.

The only display resolution she is seeing is 640 x 480. There are no other resolutions shown in the Displays panel of System Preferences.

I had her run System Profiler and the only ID on the video card she could give me was:
ATY GT-C
and it has 4MB of memory.

She really needs to get the resolution up to at least 832 x 632, if not 1024 x 768.

We tried setting the colors to thousands, but still no additional resolutions show up.

Is a 4MB card enough to run at higher settings than 640 x 480 or am I going to have to get her a better card?

I also thought X could not run at 640 x 480, am I wrong?

Thanks,
Len
