Is there a trick? > -- Curiouser and curiouser; I have a drive with three partitions, pulled from a G4 DA and installed in a G3/350 rev 1. It has Tiger 10.4.5 on one partition, Panther 10.3.9 on one partition, and Mac OS 9.2.2 on the third partition. It had been my day to day drive, running Tiger in the G4 and everything working. In the G3, the Panther partition when booted, sees the Firewire dvd burner that is jacked in. So does the Mac OS 9.2.2, but the TIger does not see the drive. ?????? I do have Toast 7 on the Tiger volume, and it does not see any firewire drive either. System Profiler just shoots blanks when firewire is selected. Just shows Firewire Bus: with no entry.
