Actually, if you are a college or university, you ARE, Virginia Tech did <http://www.tcf.vt.edu/systemX.html> and at least two other colleges are that I've heard of. (1100 dual processor X-serves = 2200 PPC processors and over 12 teraflops of processing speed).

Not that any of this has anything to do with the desktop market.
