It could simply be an expression.  I have a similar one: when I pass up a good 
one-liner I will usually say "seventy-five."  Back when I wasn't creeping up 
on that age :-) I used to say that when I'm 75, I'll probably be too old to 
do anything except sit in a rocking chair on my front porch, thinking of all 
the things I could have said.  I have heard "I'm saving that for my memoirs" 
used in a similar fashion.  Whether Strugnell was using it this way or not, I 
don't know, but it's one possibility among many.
