Not so.  On every machine I have worked on en0 IS the Built-in wired 
Ethernet.  Any additional Apple interfaces (second wired port or 
Airport) is en1.  Add on ports follow from there.

en0, en1 and so on are the BSD (Unix) names.  Built-in Ethernet, Airport 
and other names are the "Mac" names for these same ports.

In System Preferences, go into the set up for that port click on the 
TCP/IP tab, click on the pop up for Configure IPv4 and select "Off"
