Not so. On every machine I have worked on en0 IS the Built-in wired Ethernet. Any additional Apple interfaces (second wired port or Airport) is en1. Add on ports follow from there. en0, en1 and so on are the BSD (Unix) names. Built-in Ethernet, Airport and other names are the "Mac" names for these same ports. > > To disable it, delete the entire port. In System Preferences, go into the set up for that port click on the TCP/IP tab, click on the pop up for Configure IPv4 and select "Off" -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting "I'm a designated driver on the Information Super Highway" --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
