Second--more detail. I'm a student, so anything helpful with making my work easier is good =]. I'll also be programming C++, Java, Ruby, Perl, etc. on this machine. And I'm interested in any software related to audio editing as well. Let me ask another question: what is the best free/opensource programmer's editor for Mac? I've used Scite on my Windows and Linux boxen, but haven't seen a download for OSX... Thanks!
