Hello Gabe,

My answers will follow your quotes.
Probably I'll have no direct answer on your flickering problem but knowing
the exact specs of your total setup will extremely help to determine.
So let's go I would say!

Aha OK. (But MDD = Mirrored Drive Doors, haha).
But there are several. So goto System Profiler and report.

There are several in the MDD: 32, 64 or 128 MB. Again see ASP.

Would strongly advise to immediatly upgrade your Jaguar (OS 10.2.3) to
10.2.8 for free by going to:
<http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120247>
Very important!!
Better of course would be upgrading your MDD to Tiger (10.4.11) or may be
even to Leopard (10.5.5) but we can talk later about.

Now about the flickering:
1) As said upgrade to 10.2.8 before all.
2) If flickering still continues now:
    a) Try another monitor if available.
    b) No luck: Check all cables and connectors.
    c) No luck again: Reset the videocard in the MDD.
    d) Still no luck: Try that monitor with another computer.

HTH and please report,

Jo Hissel
