There are significant differences in all the late G4s ... including
Gigabit Ethernets and all after ... although all except the
Quicksilvers apparently share the same case.

Almost every change in the basic model was accompanied by a
corresponding change in the PSU, although the processors may have
remained essentially the same.

In the end, there was a final change during the Digital Audio to
Quicksilver transition, wherein the processor itself was changed to
embrace a new processor powering scheme (the case was significantly
changed, too).

Processors on 100 MHz bus machines are largely interchangeable.

Processors on 133 MHz bus machines are somewhat interchangeable, the
basic rules for such interchangeability are: 1) a Quicksilver
processor may be installed on a Digital Audio provided you supply +12
volts to the processor card through a separate cable, and 2) a
Digital Audio processor may not be installed on a Quicksilver.
