Well, this is all very good to know and I thank you much for the info. I am in the process of replacing a dead 733 DA (power supply failure maybe, but I don't know how to replace power supplies, and it may be something else), and at first I was just going to buy another DA someplace like eBay, empty if possible to get it cheaply, and then switch the 1.5 gigs of memory and the two hard drives from the dead machine over to it (that's simple enough even for me). However, if the Quicksilver line all uses the same memory (PC 133), and I think it does (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong), then maybe buying an 800 MHz QS on up would be better than a DA, to get support for larger drives and a little more speed.
