You will get much faster transfer rates using a PCI card than if you
try to run the drives through the USB ports. This is the card I use in
a DA G4 and another one in a PPC G5:

It is running a striped RAID array with 3 Seagate SATA drives. Seritek
cards come in a variety of internal and/or external port
configurations.
