I don't think so, I had 1.5 Gb of RAM when I tried Leopard and I had  
upgraded the video card to a Radeon 9000 Pro.  The DA has 133 Mhz  
bus, same as the MDD, so I think it was just what I said.  Leopard is  
optimized for the Intel machines and it's just not as lean and fast  
as Tiger on PPC machines.  As I said, this is JMHO.

Good luck, I hope it turns out okay for you.  I still love my MDD,  
but I don't think Leopard would improve it one bit.
