The comments all depend on the different machines and what people do
with them.  If Bill will watch Activity Monitor with his Tiger and his
routine apps and tasks running, watching CPU and System Memory, and if
the graphs for them are not always peaking for long periods of time,
then it may be worth trying Leopard, especially if he wants to use the
Leopard features that are not shut by his G4's video card.  I have
Leopard running on my iBook G4/1.33 GHz with 516 MB RAM.  Compared to
the Intel iMac, it is slow, and seems a bit slower on startup than it
was with Tiger, but for what I do, I haven't bothered upgrading the
RAM yet.
