Any drive attached to the built in IDE interfaces as far as I know.


BTW, the other way of doing an OS install when you don't have a DVD 
drive is to do a Carbon Copy Cloner clone of the DVD to a small firewire 
drive.  Then boot the FW drive on the target machine.
