Can I suggest a HDD upgrade? I had a 40 in my "Gigabit" G4...

Find a cheap Dell system on eBay that's from 01-02 for $50, take the
80 or so gig out of there, put it in your comp. (format it using the
zero out data option and make sure it says SMART Status: Verified),
take ur old HDD and put it in the dell, and Voila!

You now have decent space on your Mac, and a spare x86 system for
playing with various distros of Linux, Win. Dev. Releases, and my
favs, Haiku OS (BeOS) and SKYOS. I'm finding Windows 98 useful
actually...the Rhapsody Yellow Box runs in it. Also, I got OpenStep to
run on the P4 machine, under very strange conditions though.

Have fun and Good Luck!
Joey.
