Hi I have a G4 MDD's and a MacBook running OS10.4, which I use to share an Iomega 500g external FW drive between. The Iomega drive mounts up no problem on either desktop when I use the respective firewire ports on either machine. However, I've just taken possession of a 2nd G4 MDD running the same OS. For some strange reason, the FW drive refuses to mount on the desktop of this new machine. The drive shows up in the system profile, but it won't mount on the desktop. The OS is updated to 10.4.11 on all machines. Any ideas peeps?
