They changed the way PPP and PPPoE passwords are maintained on your system". http://www.applelinks.com/index.php/forums/viewthread/166/ The solution: "In Security (System Preferences) Enable 'Password required to unlock the preferences system secured' ". then: "After changing the setting the security preferences you will need to authenticate to change your network setting. Go to network pane, click on lock icon in lower left corner, enter password and you should be able to change settings. This is what I did and it works fine now".
