please help me figure this out...can't use firewire- doesn't accept, don't have a working cd burner on th g4, bought an external hard disk that requires )X 10.4, so can't use that, uploading to and downloading from internet storage takes FOREVER... I need to transfer files into this new mac mini. would a direct ethernet computer to computer connection work? (not through a router?)
what is the best external hard drive to use that is compatible with both computers that can be used as a backup drive as well as to transfer files. AND: is it possible to partition an external hard drive to mount os 9 and panther and Leopard????? Want to still be able to use some of my old apps that won't be compatible with the mac mini/leopard.
