My personal preference for RF Wireless has waned a bit, because bluetooth devices have come way down in price! The $10 Bluetooth USB Adapters work very well. Bluetooth uses batteries faster tho. >Logitech's newer models where the mouse has a turnoff switch might be good. My Logitech S530's mouse (RF Wireless) has no power switch. It goes to low-power almost as soon as you take your hand off it, and I see from the table glow, the led goes out a few seconds later. The Logitech V270 bluetooth mouse we use with our PowerBook doesn't sleep for about 30 seconds, and even a breeze in the room wakes it up - so we use its power switch. :\ >I've enjoyed the MX700 KB and Mouse until the recharging dock began >overheating when the mouse was inserted. If I use generic ni-mh batteries in my devices, they die quickly. But if I use the higher-capacity ones, like what I buy for my cameras, then they last for weeks and weeks. - Dan. -- - Psychoceramic Emeritus; South Jersey, USA, Earth --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
