I really really like my "Logitech Cordless Desktop S530 Laser for
Mac". The keyboard is very responsive to fast typing. The mouse is
ergonomic - doesn't make my hand hurt at all. Both have lots of
programmable buttons.

Really, selecting such is a personal thing. Go to a local computer
store and try various keyboards and mice. Out of the box, they'll
all work. Some just need some software to support special functions
(battery level detection, button programming, etc). Find ones that
are comfortable to you, then price shop there and online. I find
*shudder* that I also like MS mice.

WRT Logitech products in general -- the hardware is great, IMO.
Their tech support is mediocre. And their software, Logitech Control
Center, is horrible. VERY buggy. Luckily, there's an easy
workaround - you install LCC, rip out the broken pieces, then add
things like MouseZoom and Spark (both freeware) to replace the lost
functionality.
