I have a Yikes! oc'd successfully to 450 from 400.

Have you tried using XLR8 MACh Speed Control from daystar.com to
control the upgrade?

The reason I suggest it, it that it allegedly tests various L2 cache
speeds and only uses a successful, maximum speed for it. Another
source of hangs if too fast.

Sort of a safety net ... when oc'ing cpu-s, IMO.
