WOW!

Repair would be a matter of replacing the case, although a car body  
shop might be able to fix it ...

The crucial issue is determining if UPS dropped it or dropped  
something heavy ON it. (We once got a monitor box with a very clear  
boot print on it. Fortunately the packing protected the monitor, but  
it was obvious that the thing had been used as a stepladder)

If it was dropped hard enough to cause that much damage, I wouldn't  
trust the thing at all, that's an enormous amount of shock.

On the other hand, if something heavy was dropped on it, the case  
protected the computer.

In any case I'd take it up with UPS immediately!
