VirtualBox being able to run any Intel OS.
I'm assuming your problem with Boot Camp is because Boot Camp wants
SP2 and your disc is non-SP2. You can't get it running long enough to
go to Windows Update (Microsoft Update these days) to download and
install SP2. Have you tried creating a slip-stream install?
Basically add the SP2 install files to your non-SP2 install disc. It
all happens at install time. You might consider some of these links:
