To expand on lrbarrios explanation a little, this is irrelevant to any  
virtual machine solution.

Boot camp is installing OSX on non-virtual hardware, just like  
installing on any PC; if the drivers don't work in some version of the  
OS , you cannot install it on that system. There are a number of PC's  
out there now, particularly laptops, that you cannot install SXP on at  
all, only Vista. Apple's drivers don't work in SP1, only SP2 or  
better. In fact Vista didn't work right until Apple released updated  
drivers for it.

However the hardware emulated in the VM's like Fusion, Parallels or  
VirtualBox is a LOT more generic than the actual hardware in the Mac,  
so the default drivers in all these OS'es work on these virtual  
machines.
