I tried the trashing of the Extensions.mkext, so far no help there.

Is the wire with the square shaped head in the airport slot area,  
just the airport wire? Does it have to be touching anything? I moved  
it away from the metal slot/cage area so it wouldn't touch ... it had  
been held there by a wire twist.

Still having trouble booting into 10.5.6 after re-inserting my  
original video card.
