I've had the same video card in my 400 MHz Giganet G4 since I bought it 
new in 2001. It supported my 22" Samsung flatscreen out of the box when 
I upgraded about three years ago. And yes, I can watch full screen DVD 
movies without problems.

I seriously doubt a "bottleneck" as most internet broadband connections 
are not really *that* fast. Connection speeds can vary as I've seen 
cable/DSL slow down to a virtual crawl on machines much faster than mine.

Now, a bottleneck would certainly occur with high end video/graphics 
production no doubt as compared to today's machines but that is not the 
issue here...
