You're exactly right.  I only use a notebook for travel or other mobile 
needs and in my case, the aluminum G4 serves the bill prefectly.

Oh, and the more people that I chat with, they considere the G5 and "in 
betweener" much like a 603 or G3.  That said, I tend to upgrade every 
"other" generation which if I follow through as in the past, my next 
machine will be an intel something...
