I just set up Internet Sharing on my iMac, using the Airport. The Airport reports a self-assigned 169.n.n.n IP address, but my iPod does connect to the new access point, and gets a 10.10.2.2 address. the Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0, Gateway & DNS is 10.0.2.1. This means any IP address in the range 10.0.2.2-254 are available. Try using these values on the router, see if it works... -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
