I was happy to read this, but I could find no mention of top or bottom posting at the new netiquette statement "Netiquette for Email Lists." And to the contrary, the "Email efficiency, part 5, 1999.11.03. The best way to reply" referenced half way through favors top posting. In spite of the convenience of top posting, the result for reading through the threaded postings sometimes gets messy and impossible to follow without referring back to previous content.
