I meant why switch the settings in your email client at all? Just keep them as-is and process every email from the top down. That works for both top and bottom posting. The idea that the email client has to place your insertion point for you.... that's Bad. It means you're NOT going over the message. You're just adding content without trimming. Your resulting message will ALWAYS have more noise than signal.
