Just a hacksaw blade or a small piece of one or another similar piece of saw 
blade will file/cut a slot in the X impressioned screw head so a common small 
flat blade screw driver will unscrew it.

Last resort only if you can't identify the fastener and find the appropriate 
tool to remove it. --glen
